The topics of the Citizens Manifesto

The Citizens Pact is asking for more democracy in Europe. Aside for broader demands of democratic, economic and financial reforms, the Citizens Manifesto that has been produced as a result of this process includes policy proposals in a number of areas that are important to European citizens and residents. These include (but are not limited to) :

  • The commons in Europe: participation in management of collective goods (description)
  • Equality for gay, lesbians, transsexual and bisexual people (description)
  • Democracy in Europe: necessary institutional reforms (description)
  • Gender Equality and Women’s rights
  • Environment

If you are interested to find out more about the process, click here to see our previous website which helped us to build the Citizens Pact and get as many people involved as possible who commented and voted on each of the proposals.

You can read more about each topic in our Citizens Manifesto that is structured along these themes. If you want to comment on proposals or if you have new suggestions please contact e.dalibot[at]
